If you are American you must thank God for Italy
Did you know that Christopher Columbus was actually an Italian, born in Italy by Italian parents? It's true! His name in Italian is Cristoforo Colombo and he is from North Italy. He was sent by Spain to explore when he found the Americas.
This week the USA celebrated Columbus Day. In a certain sense we ought to thank God for Italy since he was indeed an Italian. If not for Italy, perhaps you wouldn't be here.... Let us thank God for all we have gained from the country called Italy and let us pray for the people of the country that they may know true life in Jesus Christ.
