Responsibilities:

Collaborate with our team to develop engaging podcast and video concepts that align with our ministry's vision and goals.
Manage end-to-end production, including pre-production planning, filming, editing, and post-production.
Coordinate interviews, record sermons, and capture live events, ensuring the highest audio and visual quality.
Use your creative skills to produce captivating visuals to incorporate believers into the work going on in Italy.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve the quality of our productions.
Work closely with our social media team to promote and distribute our podcasts and videos across various platforms.
Maintain an organized digital library of raw footage, sound effects, and music tracks.
Collaborate with other team members to develop marketing strategies and engage with our audience effectively.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a podcast and video producer, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, LumaFusion) and audio editing software (e.g., Audacity, Adobe Audition).
Knowledge of cinematography, lighting techniques, and camera operation.
Familiarity with audio recording equipment and techniques.
Creative mindset with a strong storytelling ability.
Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects

Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a team.

Note: To fulfill this position you will need to raise funds as a missionary or ministry worker. Much of this work could be done while still abiding Stateside, but the most ideal would be to relocate to Italy as a full-time missionary.

Verità & Vita Podcast - shorter clips for the Italian ministry
Fede Informata Video Channel - for teaching a catechism for the Italian ministry

Key responsibilities of the PMc producer:

Idea Generation: The producer works closely with the ministry team to develop ideas and concepts for video and podcast content. This involves brainstorming sessions, researching relevant topics, and understanding the target audience to create engaging and impactful content.
Planning and Organization: The producer is responsible for planning and organizing the production process. This includes creating production schedules, coordinating with the ministry team, managing resources, and ensuring that all necessary equipment and personnel are available for each production.
Scriptwriting and Storytelling: The producer may be involved in writing or overseeing the creation of scripts for promotional videos, video tracts, or podcast episodes.
Pre-production: The producer oversees pre-production tasks such as location scouting, interviews, and content creation for slides, podcast segments: announcements, updates, opportunities to serve, etc... They collaborate with the ministry team to ensure all elements are in place for smooth production.
Production Management: During the actual filming or recording process, the producer oversees the production and ensures that everything runs according to plan. They coordinate with the other team members to capture high-quality footage or audio.
Post-production: After the production phase, the producer plays a key role in the editing and post-production process. This involves reviewing and providing feedback on rough cuts, selecting music and visuals, and ensuring that the final product aligns with the ministry's vision. This involves repurposing of content as well: long-form podcast episodes are edited into shorter clips, shorts, and transcripts are generated to create new blog posts.
Quality Control: The producer maintains a high standard of quality for all video and podcast content. They review and approve the final edits, ensuring that the content is accurate, visually appealing, and aligned with the ministry's values and teachings.
Distribution and Promotion: Once the content is ready, the producer may also be involved in distribution and promotion efforts. This can include managing social media accounts, scheduling content, and optimizing it for various platforms to reach a wider audience.
